This is the famous Handlebarrio newsletter. We know of no publication produced by any other bar which costs so much to brew and age. Our exclusive Beechwood Aging produces a taste, a smoothness, and a drinkability you will find at no other bar at any price.

Ok, so it’s been about 16 months since we sent one of these out (we blame it on that lengthy Beechwood Aging process). Things are going well and we are finally taking time again to do some communicatin’ to our peeps. Here’s the news from what Chicago Magazine called the city’s Best Biker Bar (eat that Twisted Spoke!):

**COMING SOON: NEW MENU**
At our anniversary party (see below) we hope to launch our new and expanded menu that will go into effect in the next few weeks. In addition to a fresh design that will be easier to read, we’re adding a few more permanent items including Cornbread to go along with your chili and our infamous Smoked Gouda Mac N’ Cheese. There will also be a few additions to the brunch menu that are still be finalized.

**ST. PATTY’S DAY SHOW WITH ONE OF THE GIRLS**
Thursday March, 17th
$3 Guinness pints & $1 Schlitz cans
Started last St. Patrick's Day by Tom Schorsch and brother Al, One of the Girls plays the Irish songs that that drunk guy in the back of the bar keeps yelling about. Mandolin, guitar, banjo and three part hamrony make for a rollicking evening not to be missed.

**TWO YEARS OF TWO-WHEELIN’**
All those player haters thought we couldn’t do it. No smoking, no meat, no TV, no chance of success. Well the old bike is a starting show signs of rust, but she’s finished the first two legs of her journey. Join us on Sunday, March 20th as we lube the chain for another round at:

**CBF HAPPY HOUR**
On the first Friday of every month, Handlebar plays host to the Chicagoland Bicycle Federation happy hour. All CBF members (let's hope all 5500 don't show up at once) get a free chili-cheese quesadilla and Three Floyds Alpha King pints are $3 (as they are every Friday). CBF is a great organization that gets a lot done on the biking front, including shutting down Lake Shore Drive for a few hours each year.
